For The Dogs

Sometimes we overlook the smallest of helpers,so let's not forget these little heroes, without them the job would be much harder.

Little Helpers

Soft little paws have a job to do
not enough credit given to you
all through the night you sniff
your little body growing stiff
sore little toes full of cuts
burned noses
lots of guts
work little dog
from sun to sun
very soon your job will be done
then back to a place
where you can run
then live your life the way you should
the work you've done...you've done real good.

The Dogs

Man's best friend is working hard
searching from dawn to dusk
going in places no one can go
in him we put our trust
to help find those who lost their lives
we know you've been working hard
through storms,dust,fire and rain
you must be very tired.
You'll keep on going as long as needed
until your work is finished
until you get the word
all hope has been diminished.
