A Poem For Julie

This poem was written for my daughter Julie on September 3,1982.She was 10 years old.I found it after all these years in a box and decided to put it here for her.

Daughter

Life can be so beautiful in many, many ways
just let me name a few
there's cars,there's people,animals and places
and nice little girls like you.

You have the beauty of a misty rose
the smile of an angel above
each time I think of you my dear
my heart fills up with love.

You are a ray of sunshine
when clouds are dark and gray
you make my life worth living
in each and every way.

So stay the same as years go by
and places you will go
'cause I can't think of a nicer girl
that the world would want to know.

I love you Julie
Love Mama!
