A Single Yellow Rose
Eack week I know without a doubt
you'll bring a yellow rose
you knew how much I loved them
but only one you chose
not many times you've missed
to bring the rose to me
I feel something's missing
if the rose I don't see.
How many years will this go on
I'm sure for the rest of my life
do you know how very proud I am
that you chose me as your wife?
Someone saw you the other day
and ask you if it's so
that on every Wednesday
you bring to me a rose.
It make other women envious
thier husbands look kind of bad
that we have something special
all couples wish they had.
When I die I'll look for you
on our special day
with my single yellow rose
that on my grave you'll lay. |
