You gave me life and did your best
to try and raise me right
you worked each day from dawn to dusk
often into the night.
I know sometimes I didn't tell you
how much you meant to me
how I wish I could go back
so I could make you see
that I loved you then
I love you now
and throughout eternity. Beyond the sunset I know you're watching over me.
